Adam Kilburn (2025, St. Louis, Mo.) shined on both sides of the ball on the weekend by racking up six total hits, including two doubles and driving in eight runs and scoring another. Also showed his speed on the base paths by stealing two bags. Threw two frames on the mound and struck out two batters while not allowing an earned run.
Griffin Beno (2025, Chesterfield, Mo.) was a pest for opposing teams all weekend by posting a .727 on-base percentage for the tournament and hitting for a .571 average. Also scored two runs on the weekend while driving in another pair. Also swiped a bag this weekend. Compact, short swing allowed him to spray contact to all fields.
Evan Damario (2025, Lees Summit, Mo.) was very impressive on both sides of the ball. Very smooth and balanced swing at the plate, he hit .571 on the weekend and tallied four doubles. Was at the center of the Tigers’ run-creating both days as he scored a total of four runs and drove in five more. On the mound he was named Most Valuable Pitcher by tossing 5 1/3 innings and struck out seven batters total on his way to posting a 0.00 ERA.
Gunner Sutton (2025, Hillsboro, Mo.) posted a .786 OPS on the weekend and slugged two doubles. He was at the center of the Tigers’ run-scoring all weekend by scoring a total of five runs. Really shined on the mound with his power stuff. Didn’t allow a single earned run over his four innings of work and struck out six on the way.
Mason Lee (2025, Saint Ann, Mo.) had a very impressive weekend on the offensive side of the ball where he posted a 1.643 OPS along with a .667 average over the two days. Showed off his power at the dish by popping four doubles and driving in nine runs. Also threw four innings on the mound where he posted a 0.00 ERA and struck out four batters along the way.
Andrew Anderson (2025, Saint Peters, Mo.) was one of the top hitters for average this weekend after posting a .750 average over the two-day tournament. Drove in five runs and scored another three himself on the weekend and also hit a pair of doubles. Also threw 2 2/3 innings on the mound and didn’t allow a single hit while striking out three batters.
Brenan Goering (2025, St. Charles, Mo.) showed big-time power by blasting a long home run on the first day of the tournament. He ended up hitting .400 and also slugged two doubles. Was a run-creator both days by scoring six runs and driving in another nine. Also compiled a 0.00 ERA on the mound in four innings of work. Struck out seven batters in his time on the mound.
Cooper Rhodes (2025, Jackson, Mo.) was a two-way standout for the tournament. Posted a .769 OPS over the two days and scored a total of five runs while driving in another three. Showed an advanced, all-fields approach at the plate. On the pitching side he threw six innings and struck out seven batters over those frames while only walking two on his way to posting an impressive 0.00 ERA.
Gavin Richars (2025, Fenton, Mo.) showcased his offensive abilities throughout the weekend by hitting .500 and posting a 1.183 OPS. Was able to score six runs over the two days as well, driving in five more. Has an aggressive, but under-control stroke at the plate. He also threw 5 1/3 innings and showed very advanced feel by striking out seven batters while only walking one and not allowing a single earned run.
Ryker Benz (2025, St. Louis, Mo.) was named Tournament Most Valuable Player after dominating on both sides of the ball all weekend. At the plate he ended up hitting .600 with a 1.514 OPS while showing off the pop in his bat by slugging four doubles. Was also at the center of creating runs for the Dynamite by scoring a total of seven runs and driving in six. On the mound he tossed 5 1/3 innings and posted a 0.00 ERA. In those innings on the mound he punched out eight batters while only allowing one hit.
Mason Schirmer (2025, Festus, MO) was another Dynamite player that lit it up on both sides of the ball in the Cardinal Classic. He posted a .583 average while hitting two doubles on his way to driving in seven runs for his team while scoring another four himself. Posted a 0.00 ERA in his 6 2/3 innings of work in which he struck out seven opposing batters. Lived in the zone and only gave up one walk.
Joe Anderson (2025, Chatham, Ill.) posted an impressive 1.083 OPS on the weekend and showed off his power at the plate by totaling three doubles due to his short swing that also has plenty of loft in it on his way to scoring five runs and driving in another seven. He ended up hitting .417 for the tournament and also played impressive defense on the infield.
Sylvester Tournier (2025, Chesterfield, Mo.) was a two-way contributor to the Force this weekend by hitting .429 and posting a .929 OPS while scoring a run. Shined the most on the pitching side where he didn’t allow a single earned run over six innings of work while striking out eight batters and only walking one with his power stuff, headlined by his sinking fastball.
Drew Vanderheyden (2025, O’Fallon, Ill.) posted an impressive .600 batting average on the weekend along with a 1.336 OPS. Was all over the basepaths this weekend, as he scored five runs total and drove in another three with his bat. He was also able to successfully steal two bases.
Bryce Daniel (2025, O’Fallon, Mo.) ended the weekend with a .571 average and a 1.557 OPS after scoring two runs, as well as driving in a pair of runs. Showed off the pop in his bat by hitting a pair of doubles on the weekend as well. Threw 6 1/3 innings on the mound where he didn’t allow a single earned run and struck out 11 hitters without issuing a walk.
Macon Kessler (2025, Rushville, Ill.) posted a .429 average for the tournament along with a 1.208 OPS. Was a run-scoring machine this weekend, scoring six runs total and driving in two more. He was also able to steal a pair of bases. Threw four innings without allowing an earned run while striking out six and only walking two in those frames.
Tanner Thomas (2025, Arcola, Ill.) was one of the top performers on the mound in the Cardinal Classic this weekend. He threw five innings and posted a 0.00 ERA in those frames. What was most impressive was his ability to strike out 10 batters, while harnessing his stuff enough to only issue one free pass on the weekend.
Chase Wells (2025, Shelbyville, Ill.) showed an impressive mix of pitches this weekend which led him to post a 0.00 ERA on the tournament while only allowing one hit in his innings on the mound. He showed the ability to harness his stuff in the zone, as he struck out six batters without allowing a single free pass.
Anden Hyde (2025, Wildwood, Mo.) was one of the top performers on the mound this weekend in the Cardinal Classic after throwing seven innings and not allowing a single earned run. Had electric stuff that he was also able to command which led to him striking out 10 batters and only issuing one free pass.
Gabe Huelsing (2025, St. Louis, Mo.) was lights-out on the mound this weekend. He tossed four innings without allowing an earned run to give him a 0.00 ERA for the tournament. He was also able to punch out eight opposing batters in his time on the bump.
Parker Elliott (2025, Nixa, Mo.) made himself a tough out for opposing teams all weekend by posting a .615 on-base percentage and hitting .500 overall for the tournament. Was a big run-producer for Bros Baseball by driving in four runs and scoring another himself.
Brady Bierman (2025, Wentzville, Mo.) posted a 0.00 ERA over six innings of work on the weekend for the Navy Missouri Gators squad. Showed a combination of quality stuff and command by striking out seven opposing batters and only allowing one walk. Was able to navigate around the four hits he gave up as well.
Gavin Reese (2025, Mountain View, Mo.) was another strong performer on the mound this weekend after tossing six frames and not allowing an earned run. Did a very nice job of filling up the zone and only walked one batter in his time on the mound while striking out five.
